Review Detail
2018 Byron & Harold Wandering Lane Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
A youthful light yellow in the glass, the nose gives aromatics of fresh fig, some worked sulphite notes alongside generous stone fruits and a suggestion of oak. The palate is round and mouth filling with a cashew like creaminess to white peach that is amply supported by vanillin impact of French oak. The finish is a touch sweet but this is a chardonnay that will have many fans.
