This is a very impressive wine from Orange and coming in at $30 represents great value.
The wine benefitted from barrel fermentation in new and one year old barrels, before being aged on lees for 10 months.
On the nose you are greeted with pristine white peach, lifted vanillin notes, worked fig and flint. The palate has concentration and length to burn with a creaminess to stone fruits and a backdrop of mineral acidity that takes on a lemony thread to finish. Irresistible now but will evolve over the medium term.
