Review Detail
2018 St Anne’s Bendigo Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
The nose gives vibrant stone fruits that are embellished by fig and nougat alongside gentle spice. A medium to full bodied wine that has attractive almond meal to white peach and a build of oak induced vanillin spice. The wine is made in a drink now style with broad strokes of fig and generous use of oak giving enjoyment over the short to medium term. The length to finish is more about oak than fruit, but at $22 there is plenty on show.
