2017 Fat Bastard California Chardonnay

A lightly golden colour with a nose that combined canned peaches with a touch of corn and vanillin oak extract. The palate is more medium bodied than full bodied, the peach and corn characters seen on the nose roll through on the palate with taut acidity and some spiced oak showing on the mid palate. The finish has a touch of nougat amongst citrus and stone fruits.
