The 2019 vintage is shaping up as a good one for the Yarra Valley, with this release from Liv Zak very youthful, but having all the hallmarks to develop in stature over the coming decade.
The nose enjoys subtle almond meal with citrus and taut stone fruits that are accentuated by a touch of worked fig. An elegant and well structured wine with white peach and grapefruit at the fore; there is a savoury thread which is tempered by candied apple and a twist of citrus to driving stone fruits to finish.
