Review Detail
2017 Miceli Olivia’s Chardonnay
Wine Rating
91
The wine is aged on lees for 12 months and allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation which gives the wine of richness and texture. The nose has worked peach with a creaminess of gentle vanillin spice and cashews. The palate is full, mouth filling and focuses on stone fruits but enjoys the embellishment of oak derived spice and just enough citrus inspired acidity to give dimension and focus. The finish is generous with white peach and apricot along with a savoury textural influence bringing things to a close.
