A golden yellow in the glass, the nose balances white peach with winemaker infused characters of flint and subtle oak spice. This is a wine of substance with lemony acidity and savoury texture from oak derived tannins playing off one another; stone fruits are ripe but balanced by layers of spice and almond influence. The finish has grip with a butteriness of white peach and apricot that is balanced by precise acidity. The wine is drinking beautifully in its youth, but has many years ahead.
