2019 has provided some very good releases from a couple of Australia’s best young winemakers. The grapes were sourced from the D’Aloisio vineyard in upper Yarra and speaks of the cool site with with elegance and structure to white stone fruits that have a citrus edge. The wine builds with subtle mealy / nutty texture and impact of spiced oak. There is a saline and citrus focus to finish that is tempered by white peach, a long future ahead for this wine.
