Review Detail
2019 Windfall Wine Estate Single Handed Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
Honeyed stone fruits with the unmistakable impact of quality French oak that gives a vanillin and spiced lift on the nose. Summer stone fruits are layered across the palate and range from apricot to white peach; acidity gives balance and length with oak adding both texture and richness to the finish that sees apricot with a lingering impact. The wine is still a baby, with a few years in bottle sure to see things come together even more.
