Review Detail
2018 Harewood Estate Reserve Chardonnay
Wine Rating
91
A lovely nose with reductive flint characters to stone fruits and beautifully integrated tight grain oak.
The palate continues the impact of time on lees and new oak with generous spice to stone fruits that take on a green pea character. The acid and oak interplay does impact the flow of the wine at this point a drying character masks the fruit. The finish gives flinty, spiced nectarine and very good length.
