2019 Oakridge Local Vineyard Series Barkala Chardonnay

A light yellow in colour and almost Chablis like on the nose with oyster shell and lemon zest that is backed by white peach and faint flint. The palate is laced with citrus and blanched almonds; acidity is textural and pure with understated nectarine enjoying grip of grapefruit and a touch of spice to finish. Elegant, restrained and will be long lived.
