The grapes for this Chardonnay came from Frankland River and it gives a light yellow in the glass.
The nose has richness of fig and almond meal set against nectarine and lemon. The palate shows winemaker influence in terms of oak derived spice and worked brioche like richness that integrates well with stone fruits; acidity comes in the form of fresh lemon and ensures the wine have finesse and drive. There is a grapefruit like pull to finish that is perfectly timed and it accentuates the length of spiced stone fruits.
