Review Detail
2018 McAvoy Estate Romsey Vintage Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
A light to slightly golden yellow in colour, the nose has plenty of white peach with top notes of fig, nougat and some oak derived spice. The palate is round and generous with a baseline of cashew and fig that meets rich stone fruits whilst also enjoying just enough citrus acidity to keep balance.
The finish has some grapefruit like grip alongside almond meal and fig.
