2008 Petaluma Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
Straw yellow in the glass, the nose has grapefruit and peach, the palate has rich fruit throughout with the presence of 2/3 malo fermentation evident with buttery characters in the mid to back palate. There is just enough acidity to balance the buttery richness, but suggest this wine will be best in the short term. The finish has wonderful length and complexity.
