Review Detail

2018 Levantine Hill Katherine’s Paddock Chardonnay
Wine Rating

95
A light to golden yellow in colour, reductive flint meets piercing stone fruits and finely filamented spice.

The palate has tension between textural and ripe nectarine and a tautness of mineral acidity; there is an almond meal richness that blends acidity and fruit seamlessly. Oak gives gentle influence such is the concentration of fruit, the finish ebbs and flows with flint and length of stone fruits.
