2009 Bird in Hand Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
Light yellow in colour, the nose shows ripe peach and nectarine. The wine is medium bodied with balanced acidity and shows excellent complexity through the palate. The most prominent characters on the palate are gun flint, ripe nectarine and burnt butter. The finish shows good length and enough acidity to keep the rich buttery flavours from overwhelming.
