2008 d'Arenberg Lucky Lizard Chardonnay

Light yellow in colour, the nose has gun flint and sour edged nectarine fruit that sparks interest. The palate has complexity and balance with ripe peach, a soft vanillin lift from the oak and a touch of spice. The acid is well handled providing structure and focus without overwhelming the delicate array of flavours.
