Review Detail
2008 Seppelt Drumborg Chardonnay
Wine Rating
94
Light yellow in colour, the nose shows quality fruit with ripe stone fruits and enough oak influence to add another dimension.
The palate has excellent focus and precise acidity that presents itself in the form of mineral citrus fruits running along the length of the wine with riper melon, peach and cashew characters providing a departure from the citrus focus on the mid palate, but slowly return towards the long balanced finish. An excellent wine that will reward cellaring.
