Wine Rating

86
A deep yellow in colour that is surprising considering the wines youth.

The nose sets the tone with over the top vanillin oak and butterscotch a common thread. The nose does show some stone fruit character however its influence is fleeting.

The palate continues in the same vein as the nose with a rich buttery palate, elements of peach and no real subtlety.

The finish brings the heavy handed oak and lees characters to a head, without the required acid to keep the wine focused.

A wine for those who like them unmistakably rich.
