Review Detail
2008 Geoff Weaver Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
A light to medium yellow in colour, the nose has stone fruits and some sweeter butterscotch characters.
The palate is laden with stone fruit and leesy characters with wonderful richness and depth. The acidity is excellent and brings the wine back down to earth before it threatens to overwhelm.
The finish combines spicy stonefruits decadent nougat and toasty oak.
