Review Detail
2008 Home Hill Kelly's Reserve Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
A very light yellow hue in the glass, the nose has winemaker derived butterscotch characters that meld with peach skins and understated melon fruit.
The palate has excellent structure with a balanced core of mineral acidity. The oak inputs from barrel ferment add texture and spice to richer stone fruits across the mid to back palate.
The finish has very good length with lees derived complexity contrasted by racy acidity
