Review Detail
2009 Yarra Yering Chardonnay
Wine Rating
95
Light yellow in colour, the nose is aromatic and vibrant with ripe peach and nectarine.
The palate is initially austere and minerally with fine white peach slowly drawn out over the palate, the finish has wonderful structure and mouth feel, the length is considerable, even though understated.
This wine will slowly evolve to its peak over the next 6 - 10 years. It will be a great journey to watch.
