Deep red in colour, the nose shows rich raspberry and savoury cigar box aromas, the palate is starting to open after a few years of bottle age, with plum and blackberry fruit on the front palate, moving towards minty Cabernet fruit on the back palate. There is a little spice from the oak on the finish and wonderful tannin structure that will allow this wine to age gracefully for 10 + years.
