A slightly reductive nose with stemmy rhubarb and dark cherry that opens up with time in the glass.
The palate is a drying and serious expression of McLaren Vale with a sullen earthiness that is broken through by dark cherry and bracken with a milk chocolate note that gives contrast to distinctively drying red berry fruits
