The Tithing represents the pinnacle of Grenache in the Willunga 100 lineup, and given they are known for Grenache expectations are high, expectations were not only met but exceeded with the Tithing one of the most complete and enjoyable Grenache’s i’ve had from McLaren Vale.

A deep red in the glass with lighter hues towards the rim, the nose gives dark cherry, lifted baking spice and some savoury nuances. The palate has a delicious core of earthen dark cherry and grows in terms of fruit concentration, fine tannins fill every corner of the mouth and quality oak gives touches of richness and spice that are wonderfully integrated. The wine finishes with drying plum and dark cherry.

In a great place now but will greatly reward a few more years in the cellar.
