2014 Head Wines Old Vine Grenache

Alex Head crafts some excellent Barossa wines, his expression of Grenache is consistently good, with a focus on balance and element of femininity to the wines.

The 2014 has the vibrant raspberry and wild strawberry on the nose that you would expect given its age, aromatic baking spices provide additional interest.

The palate is attractive and has both vibrancy and depth, generous raspberry and red cherry are accentuated by floral spice and well handled acidity that gives structure and drive.
