The Hundred is produced based on select parcels of fruit from a single vineyard in McLaren Vale, the wine is un-oaked and shows how interesting and complex the unadorned version of the Grenache grape can be.

The nose starts with an ever so slight reductive note that blows off in seconds, strawberry and raspberry with pristine clarity sit on a backdrop of sweet stem and deli meats.

The palate gives flashes of juicy strawberry and a suggestion of sage and oregano. The tannins are soft and supple, with time on lees giving a complete and complex mouth feel. The wine finishes with fruit sweetness and will reward a few years in the cellar to show it’s more savoury side.
