2014 Ministry of Clouds Grenache
Wine Rating

94
Ministry of Clouds is a relatively new winery, and they are certainly making their mark. Their expression of the Grenache variety is particularly impressive with a soft hand applied in producing a wine of elegance and structure, something that can be hard to do with the variety.

A medium, reflective red in the glass, the nose is aromatic and fruit forward with lifted raspberry and cherry notes.

The wine gives plush red fruits on entry that are backed by generous spice and fine, yet firm tannins. The finish is long and focussed with dustings of oak inspired spice and white pepper to finish.
