Review Detail
2015 Willunga 100 Grenache
Wine Rating
90
A light red with good clarity in the glass, opens with some savoury notes alongside red cherry and a touch of earth. The palate has juicy upfront fruit with bright acidity, generous spice and some alcohol warmth that drives a fulness in the mouth with drying, yet fine tannins that linger and show a touch of bitter chocolate and smokey notes to finish.
This will reward a few years in the bottle.
