2016 Allegiance Wines The Artisan Barossa Grenache
Wine Rating

91
A light to medium red in the glass, the nose enjoys red cherry and plum fruits with a touch of spice and earth. Cherry and rhubarb fruits are up front with undergrowth, firmer black fruits and touch of anise on the mid to back palate. There is plenty of substance to the finish with dark cherry dominating with a bitter chocolate note providing contrast and final notes of lingering spice.
