Review Detail

A nose of red cherry that’s accentuated by some cedar oak and sappier earthen notes. Over exuberant oak dominates the wine which in turn loses it’s varietal appeal, the heavy handed approach gives a bitterness to the wine that it struggles to shrug off. Acidity also rears it’s head to finish, with the wine all arms and legs and unlikely that time will help.
