Sourced from the Blewitt springs in McLaren vale, free run juice was aged in old large French oak with 10% of pressings blended back into the wine prior to bottling. A pretty bright red in the glass, the nose has lifted red cherry with bramble and faint earth. The palate is medium bodied with glossy red fruit and a line of tannin and acid that is supportive and keeps the wine flowing. There is a textural grip to finish with faint cocoa to red cherry to finish. Will be sure to enjoy a few years in bottle.
