Review Detail
2021 James Kalleske CYME Centenarian-vine Grenache
Wine Rating
96
Sourced from 111 year old bush vines.
High toned aromatics of strawberry with raspberry and blueberry. The palate has concentration and elegance whilst walking the tightrope between fully expressing old vines and the fine detail new oak can provide. Tannins are textured with influence of baking spice and fresh earth. Glossy black cherry frames the finish with a sheath vanillin oak that has perfect presence. A beautifully balanced wine.
