Review Detail
2021 Yangarra Ovitelli Grenache
Wine Rating
96
It is examples like this that make Grenache such a re-emergent star from the warmer climes in Australia; such elegance and complexity.
A light to medium red in colour, a nose of black cherry and some floral spice alongside a touch of blackberry. The palate is compelling with such balance; lighter red berry fruits meld with darker tones yet acidity is flowing and fresh and tannins super fine; all together an incredible texture. There is textural grip that has a kirsch and dark chocolate pull before generous length of cherry fruit to finish.
