A touch of mint and eucalypt to red cherry and plum fruit, the palate has flowing acidity and fine tannins that are laced with spice and earth. To say the wine fills the mouth is an understatement with the sappy, spicy cherry characters of ancient Grenache certainly the shining light. There is a touch of warmth to the wine, but it is well balanced by the brightness of the fruit, with an energy and drive you don't always get from a wine sitting a touch above 15%. Well assembled and has an impact.
