Grenache April 25, 2011
2009 Teusner Righteous Grenache
Wine Rating

94
A wine that has had the preferential treatment in terms of careful site selection, old vine material, hand picking and careful oak management.

This care and consideration is shown in the resulting wine, the nose has vanillin oak and ripe cherry fruit, the palate shows power and elegance with cherry and plum fruit combining with savory spice from the excellent oak integration, the finish shows fine grained tannins and excellent length.

This wine will be in it’s prime over the next 4 – 6 years.
