Review Detail
2008 Maverick Twins Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre
Wine Rating
92
The nose has a pleasing combination if licorice all sorts and dark berry fruits.
On entry the wine is soft and subtle, driven by plush plum and cherry. The mid to back palate shows a delicate interplay between mouth filling fruit and oak derived spice, the length on the finish is very good with just enough tannin to frame the full fruit.
