2012 Sanguine Estate Cabernet Blend

This wine is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15 % Petit Verdot and 10 % Cabernet Franc.

A deep red in the glass, the nose is brimming with black olive, liquorice all sorts and blackcurrant, the only detractor is slightly enthusiastic oak that reduces the varietal expression. The palate sows primary blackberry with a touch of freshly tilled earth, tannins are integrated and full with oak giving background complexity.

The wine finishes with good length and elegant dark fruits.
