The nose is a heady mix of blackcurrant and plum with some floral notes and suggestion of French oak.
A medium to full bodied wine that has a generosity of fruit, but at the same maintains structure and an understated elegance. There is dark cherry and plum that grows in concentration and works well against graphite and dark chocolate laced tannins. A fleshiness of fruit frames the mid to back palate with the finish getting pulled back into line by drying plum and liquorice root.
Will age very well.
