The nose is lean in terms of fruit and somewhat confected with sweet oak influences. The dark fruits are completely overwhelmed by the impact of drying, smokey oak the gives a bitterness of texture to finish and leaves the mouth dry and devoid of fruit. A wine that will be best over the shorter term with what fruit there is sure to fade.
