A light, vibrant red in the glass. The wine gives varietal blackcurrant, peppery capsicum and tomato leaf on the nose.
There is blackcurrant and richer plum fruit on entry with good tannin structure and herbaceous notes before a taut, drying and savoury line of acidity with graphite notes to dusty dark fruits to finish.
A little bit more time to settle in the bottle should help the wine unfurl.
