The nose is true to Coonawarra with a touch of mint to brambly blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. Over time there is a distinct herbaceous, tomato leaf character that makes itself known. The palate is medium bodied with a sheath of oak richness that wraps up varietal blackcurrant, the tannins are soft and supple. The finish has a touch of dark chocolate to it with length of dark berry fruits

Approachable now and will reward medium term cellaring.
