2015 Z Wine Section 3146 Cabernet Sauvignon

A glossy dark red in colour with a nose of concentrated blackberry that is supported by top notes of olive and understated bitumen.

There is a suppleness of fruit that showcases the wines roots in the Barossa yet it enjoys a core of savoury tannin and varietal black fruits that is un-mistakingly Cabernet Sauvignon . The finish brings black cherry into the mix with touches of tobacco and a tartness that serves to frame the wine.

Drinking beautifully now with the structure to reward a decade in the cellar.
