A nose of blackberry and bracken with density of fruit and lifted graphite notes; oak cuts a luxurious swathe through the wine but there is fruit, tannin and acid to meet it in equal measure. There is a touch of coffee and blackcurrant with a continuation of the earthen and bracken notes to finish. A wine that is setup for the long term.
