A pretty fairy floss pink in the glass with a nose of strawberries and cream with faint citrus and lanolin notes in the background.
A seemless, flowing palate that has softness but purpose. Wild strawberry is interjected by understated nectarine with an edge of meyer lemon. Acidity is well handled and gives just the right amount of textural contrast and perspective to the wines richer and more seductive notes.
Who would have thought a blend of Cabernet and Riesling could make such a compelling wine ?
