A well made release that is showing well now and will come into its own in a couple of years. The wine is a deep but youthful red in the glass with a nose that gives mulberry, graphite and fresh earth. The tannin profile gives layers of interest and in terms of fruit it tends to blackberry and blackcurrant. The mid palate enjoys dark chocolate richness and oak giving some cedar tones before return of concentrated dark fruits to finish.
