A deep and glossy red in the glass, the nose is varietal and concentrated with blackberry and boysenberry fruit lifted by cedar spice and faint graphite notes. The palate is youthful and is coursing with drying tannin with a savoury edge to black fruits that will soften and evolve over time. A wine with the constituent parts to be very good, especially with a year or two in the bottle.
