A deep red, with a piercingly pure nose of kirsch and blackberry with floral violet tones.
The palate is tightly coiled with tannins having a touch of graphite and dark chocolate that give structure and will underpin the wines longevity. The fruit tends to dark cherry and blackberry that is both generous but savoury edged. There is lovely length to finish with a faint touch of fennel seed alongside long lived black fruits.
