A glossy medium to deep red in the glass, those nose is plush and layered with plum and blackberry alongside oak derived vanillin and brown spice notes that are beautifully integrated.
The palate is full bodied, but with great balance and flow. The seductive influence of oak is a constant from start to finish but is contrasted by vibrant dark berry fruits and texturally firm but fine tannins. The finish tends more to blackberry with some faint cedar and graphite tones; the length is excellent and the textured acidity pulls you back for another sip. An excellent Barossa Cabernet.
