An expressive nose of blackberry and graphite that melds nicely with a milk chocolate like richness. The palate is mouthfilling but medium bodied with well defined black fruits enjoying cedar like spice and fine drying tannins. There is a serious side to the wine to finish with firm but nicely integrated tannins that are laden with bitter dark chocolate and blackberry. Will reward time in bottle.
